Click on New Jersey FID or go to our resources section and click on firearm purchase permit.
You will need the following information:
ORI # (this is the specific NJ-# for your police dept.)
Valid Driver License w/ current address
A photo (can be taken with your cell phone)
(3) references (their full name, address, phone number & valid email address)
once completed you will need to get fingerprinted (can use Idento-go digital fingerprinting facilities)
once completed your local PD will contact you to come in to complete the process.
Side note: you can include pistol permits in conjunction with your initial firearms ID to save yourself wait time.
